10 min read · Doc'o Visa Guides

This guide is for general information only. Requirements change frequently. Always verify with the official embassy or government immigration website. Doc'o Visa does not provide legal advice.

Step 1 - Choose the right visa type

  • B-1 - Business
  • B-2 - Tourism or medical treatment
  • F-1 - Student
  • H-1B - Speciality work
  • J-1 - Exchange visitor

Step 2 - Complete the DS-160 form online

File the DS-160 at ceac.state.gov. Save the confirmation page with the barcode - you must bring it to your interview.

Step 3 - Pay the MRV fee and book your interview

The MRV fee is currently USD $185 for most non-immigrant visas. Pay through the local payment portal for your country, then schedule both a biometrics appointment and a visa interview.

Step 4 - Attend the interview

Bring: passport, DS-160 confirmation, fee receipt, photo, employment letter, bank statements, and any supporting documents for your specific case (school admission letter, business invitation, etc.). Answer questions briefly and honestly.
